THE PERFECT TROPHY SHELF AND MEDAL DISPLAY
Kansas Ballet Academy
What do you want to celebrate about your athlete?
Asa has been dancing since she was in my belly, and started taking dance classes at the age of two.
She began focused training in ballet at the age of 9 and has won second place in both Classical and Contemporary category at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in Kansas City (when she was 10 years old). She also won the 3rd place in Contemporary with a piece that she choreographed, and top 12 in Classical ballet at YAGP in Denver in 2020.
She has attended American Ballet Theatre’s 6-week virtual summer intensive this summer, and a 2-week in-person Young Dancer Summer Workshop last summer at their NYC studio. She truly enjoyed the vigor of their training, the opportunity and inspiration that they offer, and her growth through the experience. She is planning to go back again next summer, hopefully in person.
She was also the top 12 Outstanding Dancer at New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA) National Convention in 2018, and the best Outstanding Dancer in Kansas City in 2019.
She dreams to dance professionally in a national ballet company in the future, and hopes to bring joy and inspiration to many.
"She works very hard every day not only at dance classes but also at home. She also appreciates constructive criticism and always aspires to grow in every aspect."
