What do you want to celebrate about your athlete?

Baseball families are strong and the bond of the brotherhood is amazing. One of our own, Cameron Vibanco, was diagnosed with Leukemia and it rocked their world. And only by chance was it discovered so early. He went to have his physical for Cooperstown and his labs were abnormal and upon further testing, he was diagnosed with, T -Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Cam is an amazing athlete and person. He is such a great teammate! He actually played in our first tournament of the season with no complaints a week before being diagnosed with Leukemia.

The 12u 9 Spikes have stuck by him as I’ve never seen; they keep in contact to make sure he knows he is still one of them.  He may not be on the field but he is in their hearts. And you better believe when his counts are up and he is clear, he is right there cheering on his team!

So you see we aren’t just a baseball team...We are Family! We are Cam Strong !!

"Our entire baseball community wants to celebrate his courage."

- Randi Hubbard,

9Spikes Baseball Mom
