Track & Field/Soccer
What do you want to celebrate about your athlete?
Emily is missing her senior year in track and field. Last year, she set the school record in the shot put and was ready to get the discus record this year! She was the points leader for the whole team last year and won MVP.
Additionally, she was also a 4-year Varsity soccer member. 2 years as Captain, 2x MVP for soccer as well. She won All-state, All-area, and All-league honors. She is currently named to the central Ohio Super 12 soccer team.
"I'm so proud of her as a daughter, a student (she is in the top 5% of a competitive class), and an athlete. She is inspiring."
What life skills do you see your athlete learning through sports?
She has learned time management skills, made great friends and is a strong competitor and good leader.
What is a character trait your Athlete has that you adore?
She wants to review her performance after every game or meet and watches the video with me. She earnestly spends time paying attention to what she does well and what she needs to improve upon.
Besides sports, what does your Athlete aspire to be?
She would like to be a neurosurgeon and will be pre-med in the fall.
Tell us one thing you want your athlete to know.
I'm so proud of her as a daughter, a student (she is in the top 5% of a competitive class), and an athlete. She is inspiring.
